JK! It's really over.

Ok, never mind. I don't think any of the old polls are working still. If this blog had a decent following I'd fight for it still, but I give up. I'm done.

SORRY!

I have good(?) news... Polls are back!

Ok, false alarm. I guess I just had to spend an hour of time to get the issue worked out that was legally blocking my polls from being available. Whatever, here's a lame poll to get us started again. (And to start my 2nd hundred polls! Can you believe the 100th post was going to be the last?)
Which is the best one word movie quote?
"Yes."
"Woman."
"Blue."
"Denied."
"No."
"Translation?"
"Bonaparte?"
"Everything."

With heavy heart... no... actually it's more with apathy...

I'm afraid the days of this blog have come to an end.  It seems that the free poll service I was using has discontinued their availability, so I'm sorry for Jenny and Jules and anyone else who happened to check this blog with any frequency, but alas... it is dead.

Important question for everyone...

What should I do with this blog?!  I have seriously burnt out on coming up with goofy polls for 2 people to respond to, and I don't have enough followers to justify continuing it on.  But I'm also not sure if I want to do these kinds of posts on Rand-o-mania, I think that might be the best solution though.  What do you, my loyal followers and any others think?

What should I do with this blog?
Leave it the way it is and randomly add new polls.
Merge it with Rand-O-Mania
Just quit with the polls altogether and put my energy into other stuff.
Just quit posting to it, but leave it as is.

Are you up-to-date?

How often do you watch the news?
Daily, for a long time, too.
Daily-ish.
A couple times a week-ish.
Just whenever I happen to come across it. (Monthly-ish)
Never!

A Serious Note From The Creator of Just Ridiculous Polls

Hi! Ok, so this isn't too serious.  I've decided that I feel like since I started with this blog as such a goofy concept full of really random polls that I've felt really limited in the type of polls I can put up.  Therefore, I've unofficially changed the name to Just a Bunch of Polls.  Don't you fret, those of you that for whatever reason actually enjoy the madness that has been this blog.  I'm only doing this as a way to free myself from ONLY doing ridiculous polls.  (Essentially I'm removing the "Just"-factor from it, but in unofficial-title-form I'm removing the ridiculous, but that element will still be there.)  Anyway, I'll include serious and my usual ridiculous polls now.  That's all I'm trying to say.  Don't hate me.  I don't know why I'm writing this as though I'm speaking to my dozens of followers.  I sure hope I don't lose my 5 followers!  Seriously, if any of you have suggestions, I'd love to hear 'em.  Ok... enough rambling.

The Obamas are Coming!

RIDICULOUS situation: So you're having a dinner party and a friend of a friend that you invited knows the Obamas and has invited them to come as well, because they said they had no plans for the weekend. So you are spazzin' out and can't decide what to serve, etc. But the friend of your friend told your friend that Sasha and Malia hate homemade cookies for some reason, and they LOVE store bought cookies. So, you of course want to oblige and decide to head to the store just before the party to pick some cookies. You find out at the store that you've left your wallet at home, there's only enough time to grab something and get back just in time, and you happen to have $5 in your pocket. You can only afford one type of cookie...
So which cookies do you buy?
Chips Ahoy!
Soft Batch
Pepperidge Farm Milanos
E. L. Fudges
Pecan Shortbread Sandies
Oreos
Chips Deluxe
Nutter Butters
Nilla Wafers
Fudge Stripes
Other

An Awkward Situation with Pixar...

So, your friend invites you to their work party. They work for Pixar, and you're sure you'll have a great time. You get there and things are going great, but then turn for the worst. You watch as a heated argument starts pulling more and more party guests in. They're fighting over which of Pixar's ten films is the best. Your friend and all the other people at the party choose one of the ten films, and AMAZINGLY, it's an exact tie between all ten films. You're the only one that hasn't voted. They all discover this and look to you. Well... How are you going to break the tie?
Which is the best Pixar movie to date?
Toy Story
A Bug's Life
Toy Story 2
Monsters, Inc.
Finding Nemo
The Incredibles
Cars
Ratatouille
Wall-E
Up

Involuntary Olympics...

Jerry Seinfeld has a bit about how he thinks the luge is an Olympic sport that could be done by people who didn't even volunteer to participate. Imagine if they had an entire Olympics that was involuntary. People were just taken off the street and forced to participate before they could return to their normal lives. ...
What would be your favorite involuntary sport?
Diving
Squash (Would they know rules?)
Bobsled
Skiing Slalom
Curling
Shot put
Equestrian

Loyola Law School

You see, it's a new year. So I've decided that I can renew my interest in Just Ridiculous Polls. However, I don't think I'm gaining much of a following what with my measly four followers. This upsets me. So because of all this, I want to start asking fairly normal poll questions... but still in a fairly ridiculous manner. For instance, today's poll. I'm really just asking which of these schools y'all think I should go to. But can you imagine if I was holding a gun to your head?! See? Ridiculous.
If someone had a gun to your head and demanded that you announce a law school for them to attend, what would be your reply?

University of Houston
George Mason University
University of Connecticut
University of Akron
Loyola Marymount University
University of Illinois
University of Utah
University of Cincinnati
Saint Louis University
Incidentally, I'm going to now talk a little bit about legal articles.  The law turned out to be a terrible direction to go with my career.  But now I'm doing some search engine optimization for a great side blog on my main blog about quitting law school.  Great stuff, huh?  This is likely never going to get read, and if you are reading this, then I'm sorry.  It is mostly just trying to set of Google's sensors for law related things.  Law blogs and law articles that offer legal advice about legal tips and services.  Are lawyers a good idea?  I don't know.  Let me know!  What?  Ok, bye.
