That's Captain Crazypants to you!

So, you're one of those people who can scour the Internet and find awesome deals in hidden places.  You've launched yourself on another inexpensive adventure aboard a new cruise line.  The problem? The ships' crew is very new and this is their first voyage.  Unbeknownst to the cruise line, they've hired a loony for this ship's captain.   As the ship gets within a few hours of its first port destination, he announces over the PA that only a select few will be able to disembark to see the sights.  He asks everyone to gather in the auditorium for further details.  As you get to the auditorium you notice the captain on a giant monitor.  You take your seat just as he begins, "Hello folks!  I will keep this brief.  Only 5 of you are going to be able to take a small dinghy into the port.  I will not take the ship any closer to this port, because I don't really like it.  The five of you who make the most accurate Yak, Octopus, Armadillo, Lynx, or Tuna sound will be able to leave.  I will give the five of you a compass and directions.  You must be back within 24 hours.  Now, let's begin.  You there, in the end seat on my left of the first row, which animal noise will you make?" The crowd is seemingly just going to go along with this madman.  Most people seem to assume it's all a joke.  So, people start making their noises one by one.  The captain sits silently listening to them all.  Before you know it, it's your turn.  So, which animal noise will you make? Trapped in the Dessert!

You're lost in a massive building that's completely new to you. It's your first day of work, and of course you've gotten yourself lost and can't find the HR lady's office for your meeting. You walk through a door and find a very tight hallway with four doors along the left side and nothing else. The door you just came through clangs closed loudly, and your attempts to reopen it are fruitless. You decide to venture to the first door on the left. As you open it, an avalanche of something hard starts falling on your head. You stumble back and realize that you're being surrounded by a mountain of peanut butter cups! You go to the next door... a mountain of doughnuts! The third reveals a mountain of brownies, and the fourth a mountain of gooey chocolate chip cookies! You decide that someone has infinitely outdone the old secret candy drawer! Above each mountain is a faint light from what seems to be an open door on the opposite side of these rooms full of sweets. Which room will you attempt to traverse? HR is expecting you, after all.

Can you handle a bit of repetition?

You're just chilling on your porch, enjoying the last few minutes of evening twilight when a bright flash fills the sky... YOU'VE BEEN ABDUCTED!!! Your captors are jerks and want to torture you with human television... but at least they're going to give you a choice. They point to five different monitors playing five different 30 second clips of different shows on a loop. Pick which one you'll watch for the next 24 hours! ALIEN!

pollcode.com free polls

JK! It's really over.

Ok, never mind. I don't think any of the old polls are working still. If this blog had a decent following I'd fight for it still, but I give up. I'm done.

SORRY!

I have good(?) news... Polls are back!

Delivering Good News

Ok, false alarm. I guess I just had to spend an hour of time to get the issue worked out that was legally blocking my polls from being available. Whatever, here's a lame poll to get us started again. (And to start my 2nd hundred polls! Can you believe the 100th post was going to be the last?)
Which is the best one word movie quote?
"Yes."
"Woman."
"Blue."
"Denied."
"No."
"Translation?"
"Bonaparte?"
"Everything."

With heavy heart... no... actually it's more with apathy...

I'm afraid the days of this blog have come to an end.  It seems that the free poll service I was using has discontinued their availability, so I'm sorry for Jenny and Jules and anyone else who happened to check this blog with any frequency, but alas... it is dead.

Important question for everyone...

What should I do with this blog?!  I have seriously burnt out on coming up with goofy polls for 2 people to respond to, and I don't have enough followers to justify continuing it on.  But I'm also not sure if I want to do these kinds of posts on Rand-o-mania, I think that might be the best solution though.  What do you, my loyal followers and any others think?

What should I do with this blog?
Leave it the way it is and randomly add new polls.
Merge it with Rand-O-Mania
Just quit with the polls altogether and put my energy into other stuff.
Just quit posting to it, but leave it as is.

Are you up-to-date?

How often do you watch the news?
Daily, for a long time, too.
Daily-ish.
A couple times a week-ish.
Just whenever I happen to come across it. (Monthly-ish)
Never!

A Serious Note From The Creator of Just Ridiculous Polls

Hi! Ok, so this isn't too serious.  I've decided that I feel like since I started with this blog as such a goofy concept full of really random polls that I've felt really limited in the type of polls I can put up.  Therefore, I've unofficially changed the name to Just a Bunch of Polls.  Don't you fret, those of you that for whatever reason actually enjoy the madness that has been this blog.  I'm only doing this as a way to free myself from ONLY doing ridiculous polls.  (Essentially I'm removing the "Just"-factor from it, but in unofficial-title-form I'm removing the ridiculous, but that element will still be there.)  Anyway, I'll include serious and my usual ridiculous polls now.  That's all I'm trying to say.  Don't hate me.  I don't know why I'm writing this as though I'm speaking to my dozens of followers.  I sure hope I don't lose my 5 followers!  Seriously, if any of you have suggestions, I'd love to hear 'em.  Ok... enough rambling.

The Obamas are Coming!

RIDICULOUS situation: So you're having a dinner party and a friend of a friend that you invited knows the Obamas and has invited them to come as well, because they said they had no plans for the weekend. So you are spazzin' out and can't decide what to serve, etc. But the friend of your friend told your friend that Sasha and Malia hate homemade cookies for some reason, and they LOVE store bought cookies. So, you of course want to oblige and decide to head to the store just before the party to pick some cookies. You find out at the store that you've left your wallet at home, there's only enough time to grab something and get back just in time, and you happen to have $5 in your pocket. You can only afford one type of cookie...
So which cookies do you buy?
Chips Ahoy!
Soft Batch
Pepperidge Farm Milanos
E. L. Fudges
Pecan Shortbread Sandies

Your friend and all the other people at the party choose one of the ten films, and AMAZINGLY, it's an exact tie between all ten films. You're the only one that hasn't voted. Involuntary Olympics...

Jerry Seinfeld has a bit about how he thinks the luge is an Olympic sport that could be done by people who didn't even volunteer to participate. Imagine if they had an entire Olympics that was involuntary. People were just taken off the street and forced to participate before they could return to their normal lives. ...
What would be your favorite involuntary sport?
Diving
Squash (Would they know rules?)
Bobsled
Skiing Slalom
